7.5 upgrade and Image location

I just completed an upgrade and the package location for my images was one of my site servers (where they were created) - this means that in 7.1 the image was not stored in the NS. After the upgrade the image now has a different guid and the package location in the NS is showing as that NS (even though its never been stored there) I have a copy of the image - i just dont want to have to replicate it to each site again (as its 9GB) = any workaround for this ?
