I need a solution
I have a hierarchy set up for managing our workstations with CMS. For servers we only have inventory and would like to keep them somewhat seperate. I was originally thinking about just setting up an IT Analytics connection for reporting purposes since some servers are part of the workstation infrastructure as package servers etc, but we also have asset. While not using asset right now for servers we may in the future use some functionality.
Here is my question.
Is there a way that I can keep the NS for servers outside the hierarchy and just do something like the old inventory forwarding? Or do I have to set it up as a Child NS and just set up the replication rules accordingly so that only inventory is replicated?
