Dear Symantec,
I just built a new server using the SIM 7.6.73.0 and when it created the database, it placed the files in the same directory as the Master database (on the D drive), even though the default directories within SQL Server were set to be E: for data files and F: for log files, ignoring the default positioning of the file types. This meant that we needed to shut down the NS services, take down the database and move the files to their correct places and bring online the new database.
It looks as though the SIM is using the wrong directory structure in its SQL to generate the files.
So, can the SIM please create the data and log files in the default directory paths, please?
