DeployAnywhere greyed out on alters 6.9 SP6

I need a solution

I recently was put in charge of an Altiris server at my company. Since we are trying to move our remaing clients off Windows XP and to Windows 7/8.1, I built a new server. Because I didn't want to script a bunch of drivers for a lot of hardware models, I decided to see if I could update deployanywhere to do more than NIC/storage drivers. I found this article http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=tech186664&profileURL=https%3A%2F%2Fsymaccount-profile.symantec.com%2FSSO%2Findex.jsp%3FssoID%3D1427558808078UzLudl2Vdy6t0IpwtBLT25Zs6GiBEPsjYgap5 . I downloaded the new DeployAnywhere executable for Altiris 6.9. However, my share doesn't have "ghDplyAw32.exe" but it did have the executables for altiris 7.X so I put those in there. Now when I look at the "tools" menu the option to manage deployanywhere is greyed out. I put the original files back with no dice.

Also, I'm fine with starting from scratch as long as I am able to use DeployAnywhere with non storage and NIC drivers.
