At the moment, if I want to export an object in an NS to then import into another NS, such as a Connector Solution Data Source or Import Rule, I can do this with the Export XML functionality.
This is not usually a problem if I am going between two NSs in the same environment, because the NSs will probably have the same users and administrators.
However, if the two NSs are in different environments, such as air-bricked environments (Dev/Pre-Prod/Prod), then it can be that the security GUIDs are also taken in the export from one environment and then imported into the other, thereby possibly generating errors in the logs for unknown owners and security, etc.
So, can we please have the ability to, when exporting to optionally remove the security GUIDs on the items (using a pop-up question) and on the import, then to get them to inherit the parent object's permissions, if none are included in the export?
