We have always used Ghost in its most basic form. Boot from USB, run Ghost to dump image to an external hard drive, then reverse the process to applicable systems. Upon completion we have used GHostwalk to assure no SID issues and we are on our way.
I was told by tech support Ghostwalk is is not support in Windows 7 and above (it works fine for us in Windows 7 but not at all in Windows 8). I was told to use sysprep which then removed our default profile and other administrative profile that we had created.....reset desktop, etc, etc, etc. This is unacceptable. All we need is ghostwalk back to continue on.....
