Currently Ghost is not compatible with USB 3.0 Devices. There was a tech article posted 4-29-2011 and updated 10-30-2013

Currently Ghost32 crashes immediatly when an USB 3.0 external is connected.
This issue is known about and aknowledged for 3 years. Please implement support for USB 3.0 drives as most new externals are USB 3.0 only and would greatly improve performance when creating new images directly to external drives.
