Inventory Inconsistency

I need a solution

I have an Altiris 7.1 site/task server running Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and clients running a mix of Windows XP Pro SP3 and Windows 7 Pro SP1.  When a physical computer is upgraded to a newer physical computer, the hardware report I have built in Altiris doesn't always display the updated information.  For example, a Dell computer named ABC123 running Windows XP is upgraded to an HP computer named ABC123 running Windows 7.  Altiris correctly shows the updated serial number [AeX AC Identification].[Hardware Serial Number], but doesn't correctly show the updated Manufacturer [Agent Plugin Inventory].[ManufacturerName] or the updated Model [Agent Plugin Inventory].[ModelNumber].  The IP address [ProtocolMask].[IpAddress] is also not present for a few computers.  I've checked RAAD on the computers that incorrectly display the information, they show the nightly Full Inventory task has run without problems.  Is there something I should adjust in my report or is there something I can do with Altiris to correct this problem?
